旧暦10月10日の夜には龍蛇（海蛇）を
神の使者としてお迎えする「神迎祭」が
行われるなど稲佐の浜は神々への
敬意を持つ出雲の人々にとって

その稲佐の浜からくみ上げた海水を、
職人の手により丹精込めて
作り上げたものが出雲かみしおで
取り扱う”神童の塩”

この神迎の塩のみで
より神秘的で神々しい塩を探し
辿り着いたこだわりの塩を使用しています。

Izumo Taisha Grand Shrine "Inasa no Hama(the beach of Inasa)" which is close Izumom Taisha Grand Shrine, is said to be the first timi God descended in myth. In the night of October 10th on the lunarcalender, a "Kamimukae festival(welcome god festival)" is held to welcome Ryuja(sea snake) drifted from the Sea of Japan to Inasa no Hama(the beach of Inasa) as a messenger of God. Inasa no Hama(the beach of Inasa) is a special place for the peple of Izumo with respect and fear of the gods. "Okuninushi no Mikoto" (the principal great God of the main shirine) if Izumo Taisha grand shrine is sitting facing the west, and it is in the direction of this Inasa no Hama(the beach of Inasa). Izumo Kamisho, which has made with the utmost care by craftman by using seawater pumed up from Inasa no Hama(the beach of Inasa) is used as "Kaminukae no shio" The salt made of seawater pumped up from Inasa no Hama(the beach of Inasa) is only this Kmimukae no shio(salt of welcoming god) in Japan. In search of more mysterrious and sacred salt, we use the elaborate salt we finally found.
